Millions of people use social networking sites. The problem is many users do not know how to use them safely. Our objective is to write an entry that will teach social networking safety and restrictions to help people use these sites more safely. Our entry will include quick tips and tricks to help take away the personal information you didn’t know you had up to make profiles more secure. We researched information about social networking requirements and found a huge percentage of users DON’T meet the requirements but instead lie to cheat the system. We also observed our own social networking experiences. We did use other peoples work. If people follow our guidelines, profiles will be much safer, therefore solving our problems. Our team learned that social networking sites can bring people together, but they can be very dangerous. We also learned that even though social networking sites have many privacy settings, many people don’t know they exist, don’t know how they use them, or just don’t use them.
